VIDEO: Time-Lapse Footage of the Launch of Superyacht SUERTE

A time-lapse video shared by SuperYacht Times shares the efforts of the team at Italian shipyard Tankoa Yachts between May and June 2015 to prepare charter yacht SUERTE for her grand launch, which took place to large crowds on 1 July.

The large-scale effort behind transporting a superyacht of 69 metres (227 feet) for her official launch is seen above, with lots of preparation and manpower needed to get both the yacht and the shipyard's outdoor facilities in Genoa ready for the big day.

In the final stages of SUERTE's (previously known as 'Project S693') launch, final details are made to her exterior before the scaffolding was removed and wheels attached to safely transport her to shore. Here a platform submerges into the water, ready for launch.

Tankoa Yachts are renowned for producing no more than six builds a year to ensure the highest quality for yacht owners.

Built to be an economically friendly yacht, she offers considerably lower vibration and noise compared to similar superyachts in her size category and is RINA Green Plus certified.

Motor yacht SUERTE boasts a plethora of modern amenities for potential charter guests to enjoy, including a 900L aquarium in her salon, a glass-bottomed swimming pool with a waterfall and an impressive sea-view sauna.

She features sophisticated interior and exterior styling by the esteemed Francesco Paszkowski. She has a gross tonnage of 1,400.

Currently undergoing sea trials, M/Y SUERTE is expected for delivery to her owner in late August. To find out more about her charter availability following her delivery, please contact your preferred yacht charter broker.

She will make her official debut at the upcoming 2015 Monaco Yacht Show.
