VIDEO: The Regatta Experience on board J-Class Superyacht RAINBOW

A new video has been released from the Holland Jachtbuow shipyard showcasing the majestic performance of the 39m award-winning J-class superyacht RAINBOW in a recent regatta.

Launched in 2012, classic yacht RAINBOW was built with the iconic lines of the William Starling Burgess' original 1934 America's Cup winner, complemented by a classic interior which transports one back to the 1930's Art Deco era. She additionally features all the latest features of a modern build, such as a bespoke state-of-the-art hybrid propulsion and power system.

Designed by Dykstra Naval Architects, she is crafted in aluminium to Lloyds Register and MCA Classification, and carries carbon spars and EC6 rigging.

During a charter vacation she comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests in three staterooms, including a master suite, a double cabin and twin cabin.

RAINBOW collected the accolade of 'Best Sailing Yacht in 40m+ size range' following her delivery in 2013.

S/Y RAINBOW boasts an impressive track record on the race course, and could be featured in the 2017 America's Cup - as J-class return to the event to the first time in 80 years.
