Video – Asia Superyacht Rendezvous 2014

2014 saw the 14th edition of the Asia Superyacht Rendezvous take place between the 16th and 18th December in Phuket and was a fantastic representation of the increasingly popular superyacht market in the region.

The annual Asia Superyacht Rendezvous has been going from strength to strength over the last few years and the 2014 edition in particular was a resounding success. Renowned superyacht builder Feadship were as usual the Principal Sponsor while luxury vessels from around the world arrived in the popular charter destination of Thailand to enjoy the good spirit and friendly community for which the event has become known.

Feadship’s Marketing & Brand Director Farouk Nefzi commented on why the meeting has become so important to the region as well as to the industry: ‘We believe in the superyacht lifestyle. It’s all the joy of sailing and making sure that people who are engaged in that bring it to this region.’

The impressive 73m/240ft Lürssen motor yacht TITANIA was one of the largest superyachts in attendance and is now based in Phuket and available inThailand throughout the winter season. The 51m/167ft charter yacht ‘Northern Sun’ was also there demonstrating how her expedition yacht style and wide selection of amenities are perfect for adventure charters in Southeast Asia and beyond.
