Video: Fresh Footage Of The Brand New Lurssen Superyacht ‘Project Lightning’

Marking a phenomenal week for the iconic German shipyard, the brand new Superyacht Project LIGHTNING was filmed emerging from her shed at Lurssen earlier this morning.

Following on from yesterday’s video of the Lurssen Project Shu being floated out, the equalling secretive ‘Project Lightening’ was spotted on the water today.

Inspiring the same degree of intrigue, the new footage of the motor yacht reveals various aspects of her stunning design, as well as a fascinating dance maneuver with two tugboats when it comes to returning to her shed.

Whilst there are no confirmed details surrounding the project, the latest video provides some insight into the sheer scale and volume which the superyacht boasts.

After showing some images of her hull prior to the float out phase, the video of project LIGHTNING pans along her port side to give a good impression of her sleek and harmonious lines.

Next, the camera takes to the skies and captures the spaces which run from bow to stern on the exterior.

Generating plenty of excitement and speculation, superyacht Project LIGHTNING promises to be a remarkable delivery

With what appears to be a sizeable helipad on the aft, there also appears to be an area designated on the bow which could be used as a helicopter hangar.

As ever,  as more information becomes available regarding superyacht Project LIGHTNING, YachtCharterFleet will be certain to keep readers up to date.
