Video: A Fresh Look At Brand New Lurssen Superyacht 'Project Shu'

Causing waves across the industry as well as the waters outside of her shed at Lurssen, the phenomenal superyacht Project SHU was filmed in action last week.

Producing the kind of excitement which only a highly secretive superyacht project can, Project Shu revealed more of her wonderful design as she was floated out of her shed.

Bearing a name which has been bestowed on her by the wider yachting community, and not by Lurssen themselves, it is unknown which interior designers and exterior stylists have been taken on to complete her look.

What can be deduced, however, is that she is comprised of six decks and boasts a seriously sophisticated profile.

Whilst there is very little information known about Project Shu, there are certain elements of her design which call to mind the work of Norwegian superyacht stylist Espen Oeino.

Indeed, the graceful exterior lines which surround the motor yacht are reminiscent of those belonging to the 134m/439ft luxury yacht SERENE as well as the 140m/459ft motor yacht ‘Ocean Victory’.

Sure to keep everyone guessing, the construction of superyacht ‘Project SHU’ is as exciting as it is mysterious

Giving a worthy impression of her impressive proportions, the latest video of Project SHU also shows viewers the large helipad on her bow, the detailing on her port side, and the enormous swim platform which extends off the aft.

As more information becomes available regarding the Lurssen superyacht, YachtCharterFleet will be sure to keep readers fully updated.

Whilst it is not believed that M/Y Project SHU will become available for charter, be sure to take a look at all of the Lurssen superyachts which can be rented.
