Superyacht EQUANIMITY (ex Y709) - First Photo and More Details Emerge

Delivered by the renowned Oceanco shipyard over the weekend, new photos and details have been revealed about the brand new 91.5m mega yacht EQUANIMITY.

The very first image to be taken revealing EQUANIMITY's new name comes from Joop Klaasman. Taken on 7th July, the day of her delivery, in Hoek van Holland where she was spotted undergoing sea trials earlier this year, the shot shows her striking profile with her name emblazoned on the back.

Motor yacht EQUANIMITY was built under the Project name PA164 as hull number Y709 and was delivered to her Chinese owner on Saturday. An impressive and inspiring vessel, she is the first luxury superyacht to be designed and built to full Passenger Yacht Code (PYC) compliance and takes her place as number 39 in the top 100 largest superyachts built to date.

The latest details to emerge are the two 10.5m custom Hodgdon tenders and two Zodiac fast Rescue RIBs that are carried on board, as well as a fully-certified helipad on her upper deck in accordance with CAP437 regulations. These go alongside her already jam-packed list of amenities that include a spa and beach club complete with sauna, hammam, experiential showers, plunge pool and beauty salon, a fully-equipped gym and a Pilates studio that can be extended via a fold-down platform at sea level to create an indoor-outdoor wellness area.

Photos are yet to be released to reveal her interior, but it has been announced that the theme throughout is Asian-inspired, featuring wenge, gold leaf, bamboo and marble to create an opulent and soothing ambiance on board.
