Lurssen’s latest project appears to nearing completion as the highly anticipated motor yacht QUANTUM BLUE was spotted undergoing sea trials on River Weser, nearby their shipyard in Bremen Aumund.

He added, “I am so pleased with the elegant proportions, the demanding details… and superb finish to her hull and superstructure.”

Her modern interior, designed by Alberto Pinto, features many rare materials which create a real feeling of luxury on board.

QUANTUM will offer amenities including a helipad, elevator, gym, movie theatre and large swimming platform to guests on a luxury charter vacation. She features state-of-the-art Zero Speed stabilizers to ensure smooth cruising and her average cruising speed has been monitored at 12.7 knots, with an average top speed 21.3 knots.

It is expected that QUANTUM BLUE will be delivered at the end of the year, joining 92m superyacht KISMET on Lurssen's list of impressive 2014 builds. Due to be delivered soon, KISMET combines the talent of award-winning designers Espen Oeino and Redman Langton Design to create a striking exterior and stylish modern interior.
