Oceanco Equanimity Superyacht

New 91m Oceanco Superyacht Equanimity (ex Y709) Delivered

Previously known under hull number Y709 and as Project PA164, Oceanco’s latest offering is the magnificent 91.5m superyacht Equanimity that has just been delivered to her owner.

Witnessed undergoing sea trials earlier this year on the New Waterway near Hoek van Holland, the impressive 91.5m megayacht Equanimity was built by the Oceanco shipyard and launched on 30th October last year. Featuring naval architecture by the shipyard in collaboration with Azure Naval Architects, she was designed by the Oceanco in-house Monaco-based team and showcases interior styling by Andrew Winch.

Balinese inspiration is evident throughout her interior and, according to Oceanco, Equanimity can accommodate up to 26 guests in nine opulent staterooms including a fabulous master suite, two VIP staterooms and four double staterooms. To accommodate larger parties, the master suite library and study can be converted into additional VIP staterooms, making her the perfect charter yacht.

Motor yacht Equanimity boasts a number of exceptional features on board, including a dedicated hospital, spa, gym, massage room, sauna, steam room, experience shower, beach club and plunge pool with folding platforms that provide direct access to the sea. Carrying a crew of 18 on board, she is PYC compliant and meets all safety requirements without compromising on her appearance.

Despite a steep learning curve with the implementation of the new Passenger Yacht Code—working together with Lloyd’s Register— we managed to design, develop, engineer and build a magnificent explorer yacht, which will undoubtedly set new standards in the yacht industry.

Constructed in steel and aluminium, Equanimity is powered by twin 4,828hp MTU engines that give her a top speed of approximately 19.5 knots. With an elegant and clean profile, she is an absolutely breath-taking and robust explorer vessel and is sure to become a popular charter yacht should she be made available on the global charter fleet.

It currently remains unclear as to whether superyacht Equanimity will be made available to charter or whether she will be a private yacht for her owner's personal use. We will keep you posted once an announcement is made. In the meantime, there are plenty of other high quality Oceanco charter yachts to choose from, including Nirvana and the multi-award winning motor yacht Alfa Nero. Take a look below at a selection of some of the Oceanco superyachts currently available for charter.
