motor yacht SAVANNAH on maiden voyage to Norway

FIRST LOOK: Feadship Superyacht SAVANNAH on Maiden Voyage

The first official image has been released of the world's first hybrid yacht, 84m/274ft motor yacht SAVANNAH, on her maiden voyage from Amsterdam Bergen, Norway last month.

Launched on 25 January by Feadship, the innovative SAVANNAH is thought to have been delivered to her new owner in July.

A ground-breaking build from the Dutch shipyard, SAVANNAH is a build which epitomises the yachting industry's steady increase in 'eco-friendly' technology, equipped with one large propeller (40% larger than the norm), batteries and an electro-mechanical 'Breathe' propulsion system. It is expected she will provide an approximate fuel saving of 30% than other superyachts in her size category.

Powered by a single engine and fitted with state-of-the-art Zero Speed Stabilizers, she will also travel with notably less vibration than other vessels.

Showcasing the collaboration of Feadship and CG Design, SAVANNAH features a distinctive 'sea-foam' green metallic exterior, applied in one painting session using special spray nozzles and an electrostatic application process. Images of her interior styling are not yet publicised.

Her plethora of luxury amenities include an impressive underwater lounge, multiple swimming pools, a gym and deck Jacuzzi.

She offers a spacious layout for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins, and travels with a large crew of 26 to ensure guests ensure the ultimate, relaxed experience.

M/Y SAVANNAH will be available for charters to a select clientele, for more information please contact your preferred yacht charter broker.
