Following her delivery in mid-December, the spectacular 140m/459ft Fincantieri motor yacht ‘Ocean Victory’ arrived in the exclusive Porto Montenegro on Christmas Eve.

Representing one of the world’s top ten largest luxury yachts, ‘Ocean Victory’ is the bigger sister to the 134m/439ft 2011 built charter yacht SERENE. She is reported to be owned by a Russian steelworks magnet, Viktor Rašnjikovu, who has upgraded from his previous Feadship superyacht also called ‘Ocean Victory’ which was sold and has since been renamed motor yacht ‘Ebony Shine'.

Formerly known as ‘Project Victory’ while under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard, the impressive superyacht underwent sea trials during summer 2014. She arrived in Montenegro from La Spezia last week, most likely to be fuelled and is expected to remain in the beautiful East Mediterranean charter destination for the next couple of weeks. As a non-EU country, there are many benefits for superyachts in the region to include duty-free fuel and a cap of 7% on basic goods and marina services which together have added to the increasing popularity of Montenegro luxury yacht charters

As with M/Y SERENE, ‘Ocean Victory’ also boasts design from the highly acclaimed Espen Oeino. Set over seven spacious guest decks, she is reported to feature an incredible six pools on board in addition to a movie theatre and a helicopter hangar with retractable platform for landing. For the ultimate in comfort while traversing the world’s oceans, she also includes a dedicated spa area and a beauty salon as well as an underwater observation room offering a spectacular view of life below the waterline.

It seems that superyacht ‘Ocean Victory’ will only be used privately by her Owner, however there are a fantastic selection of superyachts that are offered on the global charter fleet.
