Video: Superyacht ‘Project Jupiter’ Launched By Lurssen

Causing a sensation outside of their facility in Bremen, the 120m/394ft motor yacht ‘Project Jupiter’ was launched by Lurssen earlier today.

Breaking months of intrigue and speculation, Project Jupiter was introduced to the world today as she left her shed for the first time. As she showcased her distinct profile, photographers were of course on hand to capture close-up images of her finely intersecting lines and helipad.

A masterclass in fairing and welding, the exterior of the superyacht is graced with truly unique lines more reminiscent of high-end sports cars than superyachts. Indeed, it’s only the 90m/295ft luxury yacht LIONHEART which bears a passing resemblance to the fascinating design.

H2 Yacht Design, the British team behind the exemplary exterior styling are of course no strangers to large motor yachts, having previously carried out work on the 107m/352ft motor yacht ULYSSES.

Set to be delivered in 2017, Project Jupiter has remained highly secretive throughout her build process, with virtually no details being confirmed when it comes to her interior design and layout.

Indeed, apart from confirming that her exterior was styled by H2 Yacht Design and her naval architecture was developed by their in-house team, Lurssen have remained wholly discreet.

As further details regarding Project Jupiter become available, YachtCharterFleet will be sure to provide immediate and extensive coverage.
