Video: 130m+ Lurssen Project REDWOOD?

Following the delivery of the 120m+ superyacht ‘Project Thunder’ from Lurssen earlier this month, footage has emerged of what appears to be the 139m/456ft luxury yacht ‘Project Redwood’ at their Bremen facility.

Appearing to be over 130m in length, the latest footage taken from the iconic German shipyard shows the middle section of a hull being moved into a shed.

Resembling the renderings of the highly anticipated Project Redwood, this section appears to feature the same arrangement of portholes as well as the lines indicated by the graphic below.

Ordered at the Monaco Yacht Show back in 2015, Project Redwood was initially announced via social media by the Italian design house Nuvolari Lenard.

Having previously collaborated with Lurssen on the 86m/283ft luxury yacht QUATTROELLE, the designers are sure to have similar magic planned for the forthcoming superyacht.

Since this announcement very little has been revealed regarding the build, although it is known that she will be compliant with Passenger Yacht Code (PYC).

Though many of the details remain secret, there’s reason to presume that a motor yacht of this size and pedigree will feature at least one helipad, a guest elevator, and a Jacuzzi or swimming pool.

Though it is not believed that Project Redwood will become available for charter, be sure to take a look at all of the Lurssen superyachts which are available to rent.
