Revealed: The Brand New 90m Oceanco Superyacht Project Y717

Inspired by an earlier concept designed in collaboration with the Miami-based Luiz de Basto, Oceanco this week welcomed project Y717 into their facility in Alblasserdam, Holland.

Having already attracted attention this week by revealing the highly mysterious bow of their 106m/348ft sailing yacht SOLAR, Oceanco have once again stirred interest in their latest projects by exposing project Y717 to eagle-eye onlookers outside their finishing sheds.

Whilst it shares some stylistic similarities with the rendering photographed above, the latest images from the shipyard, which can be seen below, suggest some deviations.

The aft deck, for example, has what looks to be a stairway integrated into her superstructure, which would make an infinity pool on the same deck an unlikely addition.

Indeed, the cutaway beneath what is either the sundeck or helipad looks like a more suitable place for installing a pool, possibly as part of an owner’s deck.

With what looks to be a tender garage situated on her starboard side aft, and a generously proportioned beach with an equally sizable swim platform, there’s sure to be plenty of enthusiasm surrounding Y717 in the coming months.

Whilst the latest sighting of Y717 is sure to have generated plenty of excitement, there is still some mystery surrounding the scheduled delivery of the 110m/361ft motor yacht ‘Project Jubilee’ (EX: Y714).

As we await further information on their current projects, feel free to take a look at all Oceanco luxury yachts available for charter.
